Addressing Toileting & Body Awareness using an Integrative Holistic and Medical Approach
Individual OT Session, In-Home
Examples of interventions your child may participate in include, but are not limited to:​

Play- and movement-based pelvic floor exercises to encourage relaxation as well as increased control

Self-Care training with a focus on toileting, including associated tasks including dressing and hygiene (hand washing, wiping, etc.)

Therapeutic Yoga and/or massage

Social Stories incorporating your child and toileting concepts or scenarios

Mindfulness strategies and Sensory Processing strategies

Caregiver education is provided throughout or at the end of each session as appropriate, in addition to home exercises programs and formal documentation. Virtual sessions available upon request.
